Data Center & AI Infrastructure Electrical Contractor Power That
Can't Go Down.
Ohm Grown is the electrical contractor that builds the power foundation data centers and AI facilities run on, across Tampa Bay, Florida, and nationwide: utility service and switchgear, generator and ATS tie-ins, UPS systems, busway and PDUs, high-density rack power, power for liquid cooling, grounding and bonding, and the conduit and duct-bank pathways your network trades build on. One licensed crew, accountable from the utility to the cabinet.

Why It Matters
In a data center, a sloppy termination isn't a punch-list item. It's an outage, a breached SLA, and a phone call nobody wants to make. We plan every task near energized equipment with a written method of procedure, work inside your change windows, and leave documentation your facilities team can actually use.

- 08
Conduit & Groundwork for Fiber Teams
We run the conduit, duct banks, sleeves, cable tray, and pull boxes your fiber and low-voltage contractors need, installed and bonded on schedule. They pull and terminate the cable; we make sure the path is ready.
The Power Path
From the Utility
to the Rack.
01 /
Service & Distribution
Utility service, transformer, and main switchboard: sized to the load, coordinated with the utility, inspected the first time.
02 /
Backup & Conditioning
Generator, automatic transfer switch, and UPS installed and commissioned so a utility event never reaches the floor.
03 /
Power to the Rack
PDUs, busway, and branch circuits to every cabinet, sized for today's load and the high-density racks coming next.
Scope of Work
We Lay the Groundwork.
Your Fiber & Low-Voltage Teams Build On It.
On data center, commercial, and venue projects, Ohm Grown runs the conduit and installs the groundwork your fiber and low-voltage contractors need, sized and scheduled with them up front, so their crews arrive to finished pathways and live power.
Ohm Grown Installs
- Conduit, sleeves, and core drills
- Underground duct banks, handholes, and directional boring
- Cable tray, ladder rack, and J-hook pathways, installed and bonded
- Pull boxes and pull strings in every run
- Power circuits for network racks, MDF / IDF rooms, and PoE switches
- Telecom grounding busbars and bonding
Your Fiber & Low-Voltage Contractor Installs
- Fiber optic cable, splicing, and termination
- Structured (copper) data cabling
- Access control, cameras, and security systems
- AV, audio, and display signal cabling
- Network equipment, testing, and certification
Ohm Grown does not install fiber, network cabling, or low-voltage systems. We build the pathways and power for the contractors who do.
How We Run It
Five Steps.
No Surprises.
STEP 01
Walk & Review
Site walk, drawing review, and a load and redundancy check (N, N+1, or 2N, as designed) before we price anything.
STEP 02
Method of Procedure
Written MOPs for any work near live systems, approved by your team and scheduled inside your change windows.
STEP 03
Install
Licensed crews, labeled and torqued terminations, clean conductor dress, and separated A / B paths.
STEP 04
Test & Commission
Insulation resistance, torque verification, and phase rotation checks, plus support for load bank and integrated systems testing.
STEP 05
Document & Hand Off
As-builts, panel schedules, labeling, and test results your facilities team can use on day one.

FAQ
Straight
Answers.
Do you work inside operating data centers?
Yes, with planning. Work near energized systems runs from a written method of procedure (MOP) your facilities team approves, scheduled inside your change-management windows. Where the scope allows, we de-energize and verify before work begins, following NFPA 70E.
Can you support AI and high-density racks?
Yes. We install the higher-capacity feeders, busway, and branch circuits that high-density and GPU racks need, and the power for liquid-cooling equipment such as CDUs, built to the engineer of record’s design.
Do you install fiber or network cabling?
No. Fiber and network cabling are not part of our services. We run the conduit and install the groundwork your fiber and low-voltage contractor needs: duct banks, sleeves, cable tray, pull boxes and pull strings, grounding, and power for the network racks. They pull, splice, and terminate the cable, and we coordinate the schedule so the pathways are ready when they arrive.
What kinds of data center projects do you take on?
Server rooms, edge and colocation suites, white-space expansions, AI and high-density deployments, UPS and generator upgrades, and electrical scopes within larger new builds working under your general contractor.
Do you coordinate with the utility?
Yes. We are an approved TECO subcontractor and handle utility coordination for new and upgraded services, from load letters to the service cut-over.
What documentation do we get at turnover?
As-built drawings, panel schedules, circuit and equipment labeling, and test results for the work we installed, organized for your facilities team.
Will you travel for a data center project outside Florida?
Yes. Data center and AI infrastructure work is where we travel most. We mobilize our own foremen and electricians, handle travel and lodging, and confirm the license and permit path for the state and jurisdiction before we mobilize. Home base is Tampa Bay, with crews daily across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, and Hernando counties.
