Scope of Work

We Lay the Groundwork.
Your Fiber & Low-Voltage Teams Build On It.

On data center, commercial, and venue projects, Ohm Grown runs the conduit and installs the groundwork your fiber and low-voltage contractors need, sized and scheduled with them up front, so their crews arrive to finished pathways and live power.

Ohm Grown Installs

  • Conduit, sleeves, and core drills
  • Underground duct banks, handholes, and directional boring
  • Cable tray, ladder rack, and J-hook pathways, installed and bonded
  • Pull boxes and pull strings in every run
  • Power circuits for network racks, MDF / IDF rooms, and PoE switches
  • Telecom grounding busbars and bonding

Your Fiber & Low-Voltage Contractor Installs

  • Fiber optic cable, splicing, and termination
  • Structured (copper) data cabling
  • Access control, cameras, and security systems
  • AV, audio, and display signal cabling
  • Network equipment, testing, and certification

Ohm Grown does not install fiber, network cabling, or low-voltage systems. We build the pathways and power for the contractors who do.

How We Run It

Three Steps.
No Surprises.

  1. STEP 01

    Tell Us About the Project

Call or send the drawings. We ask the right questions about scope, timeline, and what is at stake.

  2. STEP 02

    Plan & Proposal

We walk the site, review drawings, and deliver a clear proposal: scope, schedule, and price. No vague estimates, no hidden markups.

  3. STEP 03

    We Execute. You Open.

We pull permits, manage inspections, coordinate with your GC, and deliver a clean, code-compliant install.

FAQ

Straight
Answers.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We handle permit applications, plan review coordination with city and county AHJs, and schedule and attend every required inspection. You don't have to chase the city. We do that for you.

Do you work directly with general contractors and developers?

Yes. Working as the electrical subcontractor for GCs and developers is a core part of our business. We are experienced with project schedules, RFI processes, and submittals, and we keep the communication standards that keep your job moving.

What size commercial projects do you take on?

From small tenant build-outs to large-scale industrial installations and multi-unit developments. If you're unsure whether your project fits, call us. We'll tell you honestly if we're the right fit.

What's the difference between an EC and an ER electrical license?

A Florida Certified Electrical Contractor (EC) passed the state exam and can pull permits in any county or city in Florida. A Registered contractor (ER) is limited to the local jurisdictions where they hold a certificate of competency. Ohm Grown holds certified license EC13014766.

Which utilities do you coordinate with?

TECO (Tampa Electric) and Duke Energy across Tampa Bay. We are an approved TECO subcontractor, which helps on meter locations, transformer drops, and service cut-ins.
